Finland’s parties tied in Sunday’s election Reflects entrenched views

The Finnish justice ministry says that the left-leaning Social Democrats, who have not held power for many years, gathered 17.7 per cent of the vote while anti-immigration Finns Party picked up 17.5 per cent. Leader Antti Rinne, a former union boss, will now try to form a coalition government, while the Centre Party of PM Juha Sipila slipped to 13.8 per cent of the vote.

In a Tweet yesterday President Trump said: ‘If the Fed had done its job properly, which it has not, the Stock Market would have been up 5,000 to 10,000 additional points, and GDP would have been well over four per cent instead of 3 per cent…with almost no inflation. Quantative tightening was a killer; should have done the exact opposite’.
